As a Settlement Administrator you will be responsible for supporting one of our premier automotive clients by performing a key administrative role for vehicle settlement agreements in partnership with a local dealership. The purpose of this role is to help ensure a flawless and compliant execution of this Settlement. The Administrator will be responsible for preparing settlement packages, handle disputes and complete transactions.

 
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Review with the Dealership staff all upcoming appointments to plan, communicate and organize vehicle Buyback, Buyback With Trade-In, Early Lease Termination, Surrender For Inoperability, or Approved Emissions Modification for eligible Customers,
  • Ensure that all settlement packages are received, safeguarded, and accounted for,
  • Support and assist the Dealership’s personnel during the eligible Customer appointments,
  • Handle any and all disputes that may arise with an eligible Customer or with a Customer’s vehicle,
  • Complete the appropriate transactions in the claims portal, following all the required steps correctly and in the proper sequence,
  • Complete the transfer of ownership of returned vehicles from eligible Customers to the dealership at the provincial Ministry of Transportation (or equivalent),
  • Prepare and assist the Dealership with the execution of this Settlement’s requirements through training and support of Dealership personnel dedicated accordingly.
  • If required, ensure that returned vehicles are moved and securely stored in a designated location at the Dealership and that keys are turned over to the Dealership’s designated vehicle custodians
  • Escalate issues and concerns during the completion of a claim with the Canadian Claims Administrator.
 
Qualifications:
 
  • Minimum 2 years proven track record of strong customer relations and/or customer service experience
  • Minimum High School/GED diploma
  • Experience with preparation of contracts and/or agreements is highly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of professionalism, etiquette and business acumen
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Detail-oriented
