Job Description: IT Deskside Support Engineer Level II
Function: IT
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Build and support Windows and IOS workstations and laptops
  • Create/Manage workstation/laptop image builds, testing, deployment, patches and maintenance
  • Experienced in hardware troubleshooting in Desktops and laptops
  • Knowledgeable of Windows Operating Systems (Windows 7, 8 and 10)
  • Experienced in repairing of laptop and desktop hardware
  • Installation and support MS Office, Outlook, Skype for Business, One Drive, AntiVirus, , encryption, printers, VPN, etc.
  • Management and resolution of tickets using Remedy
  • Setup and maintain training rooms
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of phone issues and assist telephony team as needed
  • Working knowledge of network, server and voice infrastructure for troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Knowledge of Active Directory
  • Installation and support of PGP encryption software on all workstations
  • Working knowledge of workstation administration tasks
  • Work with any other team within IT to escalate resolution to IT issues/tickets impacting your site
  • Strong communications with on-site staff in support of their IT needs

  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Overall should be a good team player with willingness to learn and drive to achieve
  • Good Office 365 and workstation application knowledge and skills
  • Must be organized and methodical in daily activities & in problem-resolution.
  • Knowledge and experience of Remedy
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Qualification / Experience:
  • Formal education in Information Technology
  • Windows certification
  • Network experience and training
3 to 5 years in IT industry
