We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Solutions Architect to participate in the design, implementation and maintenance of applications and services for our next generation marketing optimization platform.  The selected candidate will work closely with internal and external clients to understand business requirements, design solutions, clearly communicate solution designs and provide technical leadership for efficient project execution.
 
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Provide technical leadership in a pre- and post-sales capacity
  • Function as an individual contributor as well as work with globally distributed development teams
  • Work with internal and external customers during the discovery phase to uncover hidden requirements and fully understand customer needs
  • Thoroughly analyze business requirements and identify gaps
  • Design robust, extensible solutions for our next generation platform in accordance with industry standards and best practices
  • Identify business risks related to the software design and create mitigation strategies
  • Clearly communicate solution design to development staff
  • Guide technical architects and senior developers to achieve project success
  • Design and validate integrations with 3rd party systems
  • Advise on design of updates to existing systems to better plan for future solutions
  • Work on multiple simultaneous projects with multiple teams under tight deadlines
  • Facilitate and manage, in conjunction with the various technical, infrastructure, development team, the preparation of key documentation like Technical Architecture and Specifications of an end-to-end solution
  • Know and understand the client’s business and business problems.  Work with Development and Architect Team to develop strategies to resolve problems that equate to additional business for Concentrix
  • Work with Project Team to design solutions that reflect the needs of the client from both a functional and budgetary perspective.
  • Provides input regarding opportunities for continuous process and productivity improvements.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

 
Education/Knowledge:     
 
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from an accredited four (4) year college or university
    • College or University degree in Computer Technology preferred or equivalent experience
       
 
Experience / Skill:      
 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 5+ years in a senior developer role and 3+ years in a technical architecture role
  • Demonstrated experience designing and developing for a service oriented architecture
  • Experience writing code in at least two of the following: C#, Java, Node.js, PHP, Python
  • Experience developing in at least one of the following database technologies: Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL
  • Comfortable learning new software languages and new architectural paradigms
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs
  • Experience working with open source technologies
  • Experience building POCs
  • Experience with Cloud technologies a plus
