1. Purpose

~ Position is responsible for providing various support functions to the Connected Car Product team in launch activities, post-launch and ongoing program operations. Key responsibilities include: support all company car Blue Link accounts and SXM accounts for set up and cancellation, supporting variety of product testing vehicle and device allocation for both internal and external needs,  manage test vehicle order, crush, and logistics.  Manage and track mobile test device pool. Maintain support materials.   


2. Major Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

·         Test vehicle logistical administration – process legal documents for vehicle loan agreements, approve all test drivers with Vehicle Administration department, process customs documents where applicable, track vehicle maintenance needs and move vehicle to National Service garage for regular maintenance or repairs,  Process vehicle crush requests for non-production vehicle at end of vehicle use date, Maintain Vehicle Usage logs and vehicle check-in/out process, and provide weekly usage reports (35%)

·         Support company car Blue Link account management such as enrollment and cancellation of all event vehicles, employee leases, manager demos, field demos or department vehicles at NHQ and regions (25%) 

·         Test Device administration – Maintain test device pool, manage check-in/out process, order new devices as needed and ensure company processes are followed for maintaining lifecycle of devices, and provide weekly usage reports (15%)

·         Maintain Connected Vehicle Feature Matrix file for model year release planning, update Blue Link & Genesis Conn. Services Product Guides and update data files for model year updates (10%)

·         Support company car SXM radio and data activation and review SXM data transmissions between HMA and SXM (5%)

·         Participate in product testing activities as needed to support vehicle and device requests (5%)

·         Secure quotes, transport competitive vehicles, and prepare legal documents for Competitive Vehicle Evaluation (5%)


3. Authority

~ Prioritize the schedule of the limited resources for Blue Link testing vehicles and mobile devices

~ Create, modify and maintain data for Blue Link company car subscription daily base

~ Maintain the lifecycle of the test production vehicles and mobile devices

~ Initiate and maintain the legal documents for the liabilities of loaning the vehicles to vendors or sibling companies

Related Experience


Certification required

~ Must be a high school graduate ~ Bachelor’s degree preferred

~ Three  to Five years of work experience with an automotive in project management, create and Manage database and advanced technology ~ ~ Two plus years of administrative tasks in automotive desired ~ Automotive experience a plus

~ Good negotiation skills ~ Preferred proficiency using databases IT systems such as AS400, SAP, Siebel, etc ~ High level of proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) required ~ Analytical, Written and oral communication skills, with ability and interest to problem-solve ~ Ability to work with different personalities within the company ~ Decision making skills with defined judgment ability and maturity ~ Must have a driver license and qualify for a lease vehicle (for insurability purposes) ~ Periodic travel to support events, dealer activities, vendor monitoring, etc. ~ Korean Language (Written and Oral) a plus
