BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE –  marketing solutions
This is a key sales function chiefly involved in generating revenues from new business opportunities; Responsible for prospecting new Automotive sector clients within a specific; Identifies potential business to business partnerships to achieve new revenues with established profit margin targets; Executes existing business strategy to achieve specific revenue goals and objectives;  Works within established budget;  Develops effective business relationships with industry contacts to maintain current on trends and solutions
 
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Build a pipeline of qualified opportunities across the Automotive OEM sector
  • Forecast and generate revenues from new account acquisition
  • Assists in planning and executing strategic opportunity plans
  • Develop and own functional area expertise within an industry vertical
  • Build strategic networks and business relationships
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customer executives and their respective teams
  • Leverage experience, industry trends and best practices to align solutions with a target company’s core objectives
  • Create and manage proposal activities
  • Meets fiscal revenue and profit objectives
  • Prepares and conducts formal group presentations at senior management levels to sophisticated,
  • national and global customers
  • Home based with extensive travel required
  • Other duties as assigned
     

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

 
Education/Knowledge:  
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience selling marketing services, with a history of driving, managing and closing enterprise deals to the Automotive sector
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from an accredited four-year college or university
 
Experience / Skill:
           
  • Strong track record of carrying and exceeding a sales quota
  • Proven consultative sales solution skills, including the ability to articulate a clear, concise return on investment value case
  • Strong marketing aptitude
  • Ability to sell to C-Level executives and across business and IT lines
  • Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, and team-oriented environment
  • Experience selling Software and Services to large, strategic enterprise accounts
  • Demonstrates fiscal responsibility with expense management
