Concentrix is currently searching for a Tax Analyst to assist with tasks related to filing and reporting of Sales and Use tax for the US Geo. This position will report to the North America Accounting Controller.
Prepare state sale and use tax return filings, support sales tax audits research and implement corrective actions.
Reconcile monthly sales and use tax balances to general ledger.
Prepare information used in tax audits and assist with meeting all required deadlines
Monitor and update sales and use tax rates.
Work cross functionally with accounting and shared services Point of Contact person (POC) to coordinate use tax accruals.
Prepare data required for Unclaimed Property compliance and provide to firms for required processes in timely manner.
Assist with integration efforts towards a centralized sale and use tax process for the US Geo.
Assist in various tax planning and special projects, as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance plus 1 – 2 years of hands-on experience with transactional tax
Solid understanding of accounting and tax and concepts
Minimum of 2 years of corporate sales and use tax experience, ideally working in a multinational corporate tax department.
Solid technical knowledge and practical experience in dealing with tax related matters and processes.
Proven ability to self-manage/prioritize strict deadlines and ability to work on problems of moderate scope.
Strong oral and written communications skills with a track record of building productive internal/external working relationships.
Advanced MS Office skills, specifically Excel and Word.
