Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer at the mid to senior level to join our team at UPC. This role involves developing enterprise Java applications, working with modern front-end frameworks, and ensuring robust backend integrations. As a developer, you will engage in hands-on coding, uphold code quality standards, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams in an onsite setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain enterprise-level Java applications.
Design and implement modern front-end interfaces using Angular 8+.
Integrate backend systems using Spring Boot, MVC, and Data.
Create and consume RESTful web services and handle JMS.
Write efficient and effective unit tests to ensure code reliability.
Conduct thorough code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality, defect-free production code.
Must-Have Skills:
Proficiency in Java 8, Core Java, and J2EE.
Strong experience with Spring Boot, MVC, and Data.
Advanced skills in Angular 8+ for front-end development.
Expertise in designing and consuming REST APIs.
Proficient with Oracle SQL and database interactions.
Ability to write clear and effective unit tests.
Experience in code reviews and mentoring junior team members.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Docker for containerization.
Knowledge of Tibco for integration and middleware solutions.
Basic understanding of Linux operating systems.
Experience with Integration Testing frameworks.
Familiarity with Material Design principles.
Knowledge of ColdFusion.
Additional Requirements:
Proven track record of delivering zero-defect production code.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
The base salary range for this position is $92,250 - $120,000, plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
