Game Changers must be located in the Frisco, Texas Area- this position is onsite 5 days a week.
The Technical Product Owner plays a principal role in supporting and identifying opportunities for new and/or enhanced product components; drives a solution set based on defined business requirements; develops and implements organization-wide launch plans; plans and prioritizes work around resources.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Product Owner uses the best practices found in project management, product/software design and development, user experience design, architectural design, and business management. You’re the mastermind who knows what will make the business prosper, what’s technically possible and how to make it happen.
- Work with broader internal teams to gather specific project requirements and implement them using the agile development methodologies.
- Participate in the agile ceremonies and help constantly raise the bar of the team.
- Provide clear direction to software engineers/developers and answer any specific questions on timely manner.
- Lead and assist with development, testing, migrations, production cutovers and application onboarding.
- Support industry standards, regulatory compliance, and customer business requirements.
- Stay current with industry trends and how they might impact tools, training, and support of existing and potential customers.
- Works cross-functionally with business teams to help resolve pain points and reduce manual work.
- Synthesize the information into clear recommendations to support the development of innovative and user-centered solutions.
- Continuously improve the product features and performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of Technical Product Owner Experience or equivalent
- Must have experience in SAFe environment, preferred SAFe POPM certification is mandatory for this role
- Most critical: Creation of technical user stories (API, UI and Commerce) which a primary part of the position. Work with the product manager and priorities and to ensure user story definition is accurate.
- Proficient in Jira, Jira Align and Confluence is must.
- Proficiency is MS Visio is must to create the functional flow diagrams
- Proficiency in Visual Studio Code or PlantUML is must to create the sequence diagrams.
- Knowledge on APIGEE, CI/CD Pipeline, Gitlab is good to have to perform the daily duties.
- Proficiency is SwaggerHub is must to document/design the API requirements.
- Proficiency in Postman is must to do the API testing.
- Proficiency in Splunk and AppDynamics or other competitive/similar tools is must to help the Developers and SDETs during issue triaging.
- Knowledge on Amazon Web Services (AWS) is good to have to perform the daily duties.
- Seek direct end user feedback to identify and define product requirements and enhancements.
- Knowledge on Cloud security services and API security best practices is good
