Roles & Responsibilities
- Strategic alignment: Develop program strategies, define objectives, and ensure alignment with overall business goals and vision.
- Program Oversight: Manage the entire lifecycle of multiple complex, interrelated projects from initiation to completion.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate efforts across different teams and departments, fostering collaboration and driving participation.
- Resource & Budget Management: Plan, forecast, and manage program budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and implement mitigation strategies for program-level risks and issues.
- Stakeholder Communication: Engage with and report to stakeholders and executives, providing regular status updates and driving consensus.
- Process Framework: Implement best practices, establish new processes and drive efficiency across programs.
- Mentorship & Guidance: Coach and mentor project managers and team members, providing leadership and direction.
- Inspect & Adapt: Lead program evaluation and post-program reviews to assess successes, challenges, and lessons learned.
Required skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Overall Experience Required: 10 + Years
- Program Management Professional (PgMP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification OR any SAFe certification
- At least 5-7 years of experience in program management or a similar leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex programs and projects.
- Strong understanding of program management methodologies (Agile, SAFe, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana).
- Ability to analyze program performance data and generate insights to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-making
