Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to support a new React Native project. This role will lead the creation of the QA strategy, focusing on robust manual and possibly automated testing processes and tooling to ensure a seamless and high-quality mobile experience.
Responsibilities:
Define and maintain a comprehensive QA strategy, including documentation for both manual and automated testing processes.
Design, write, and execute detailed manual test cases across functional, UI, and integration areas.
Evaluate and implement potential UI test automation frameworks or other automated testing practices to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
Collaborate with the client to identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution.
Work closely with the core delivery team especially as it relates to maintaining an agile workflow and backlog.
Communicate clearly to align on risks and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on QA experience, including mobile app testing and some automation.
Experience with test automation tools or frameworks for React Native a plus.
Proven track record in building and maintaining test documentation.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and defect management processes.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
