We are looking for a English& Cantonese speaking Technical Sales Representative (On-site) to join one of our exciting, expansion projects.

As the Technical Sales Specialist, you will prepare technical insights and presentations to align with customers' needs and IT initiatives in SaaS solution adoption. You will support the inside sales team in generating new business and growing existing accounts by assessing advanced application needs and offering tailored solutions. Your goal is to secure more customer wins by demonstrating how our solutions meet their requirements, addressing pain points, and explaining technical architectures and end-user scenarios.

As a Technical Sales Representative in our team, you will:

Technical Solution Development & Customer Engagement

  • Serve as the primary technical resource for the sales team, provide technical expertise on products, services, and technologies.
  • Attend customer meetings, engage with potential and existing customers to understand their technical needs and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop customized solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Demonstrate product features and benefits through presentations, demos, and technical discussions, both in person and via video conference.
  • Address technical queries and provide timely, accurate responses.
  • Confirm implementation requirements and pricing to provide customers with accurate cost projections.
  • Act as a customer advocate for pre-sales and post-sales discussion, offering consultative support and consistent follow-up.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IT managers and decision-makers.

Market and Product Knowledge

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements to position SaaS solution adoption effectively.
  • Provide feedback to the inside sales and channel partner team based on customer insights and market demands.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance sales processes, including recommending improvements, and develop and implement comprehensive training programs.

Training and Reporting

  • Train and support the sales team on technical aspects of products and solutions.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for internal teams and external customers/partners to enhance product knowledge.
  • Track and report on solution adoption rates and customer feedback.
  • Create high-quality technical documentation and solution blueprints that are comprehensive, accurate, and easy to understand.

 

We’ll be a great match if you have:

  • Bachelor degree, major in computer science is preferred
  • More than 5 years of experience in pre-sales or technical consulting role with customer-facing approach. More than 3 years of experience in technical sales of cloud products or related solutions.
  • Strong familiarity in software or hardware solution selling/ service industry.
  • Excellent command of Cantonese and English language proficiency (verbal and written).
  • Experience managing the Hong Kong market is encouraged to apply for this role.
  • Experience working with or selling Cloud Computing such as Software as a Service (SaaS)/ Platform as a Service (PaaS)/ Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) would be highly advantageous.
  • Have experience or exposure to Open Source Software (OSS) including but not limited to  Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Dynamics 365, Google Workspace or similar solutions.
  • Consultative capability to influence customers in an interactive approach with demonstrated ability to extract hidden or unrealized requirements from customer.
  • Problem solver and able to identify pain points and share best practices in open-source software management.
  • Demonstrated ability to focus and manage ambiguous customer needs into specific, deliverable requirements.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and support on time.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills - proactive communication style ensuring timely status of projects
  • Excellent knowledge of CRM such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Oracle tools and/or programs.
