Hiring One position Analyst business operations for Fedex
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Gather and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in reports and dashboards.
- Requirements Gathering:
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements for reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Data Management:
- Extract, clean, and transform data from various sources to ensure it is ready for analysis.
- Maintain and optimize databases, data models, and data warehouses to support efficient reporting.
- Business Insights:
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business strategies and decision-making.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business strategies by tracking relevant KPIs.
- Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, and data models.
- Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and reporting best practices.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in BI and data analytics.
- Propose and implement improvements to existing reporting processes and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field. (Preferred)
- 2 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role.
- Proficiency in PowerBI
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
