Job Description
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience in cloud security roles.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and containerization technologies.
- Experience with security tools and technologies (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Terraform).
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (NIST, CIS benchmarks).
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and integration of security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, CISSP, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Kubernetes security and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud governance frameworks and controls.
- Experience with auditing cloud environments and implementing continuous monitoring solutions.
