Summary
This is a Lead Engineer role, you should be able to mentor younger engineers.
This role allows for remote work in the US, but you must be able to support the Mountain Standard Time zone. You will report to a Sr. Lead Project Manager.
We can sponsor H1B candidates and will also consider C2C resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and define technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of development experience
- 2+ years with Microsoft Azure, while AWS and GCP proficiency is acceptable.
- 2+ years with in JavaScript/Typescript (a coding assessment will be required).
- Demonstrated experience in architecting event-based systems or microservices from the ground up.
- Proficiency in using tools such as Datadog, Splunk, App Insights, New Relic, etc.
- Proven experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment).
- Track record in developing unit testing frameworks.
- Competency in Application Security and Networking.
- Ability to mentor and foster the growth of team members.
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud Functions or AWS Lambda.
- 2+ years’ experience with Node.js and Express
- Experience with Ruby is ideal, but not a requirement
- Must have experience working in Agile teams
The on-target earnings range is $ $109-$115K, which includes a base salary and incentives that align with company and individual performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies. The deadline to apply for this position is Nov 18, 2024.
