The successful candidate has a deep and thorough knowledge of the Apigee platforms, including proxy development, analytics, CI/CD integration, X and Hybrid architecture, and networking requirements for all Apigee form all Apigee factors (Edge Cloud, OPDK, Hybrid, and X). Documented experience in designing and guiding the build and usage of Apigee implementations is essential.
This is a remote work at home opportunity in the US. (Eastern Time Zone or Central Time Zone hours)
Core Technical Skills:
- Apigee Platform Expertise:
- Deep and thorough knowledge of Apigee platforms (Edge Cloud, OPDK, Hybrid, X).
- Proficiency in Apigee proxy development, CI/CD integration, and networking requirements.
- Extensive knowledge of Apigee architecture, including both on-premise and cloud form factors.
- Implementation and Operation:
- At least 5 years of experience in implementing and operating Apigee platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and executing Apigee implementations.
- Component Understanding:
- Deep understanding of Apigee components like Cassandra, nginx routers, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with GCP, its core networking components, and best connectivity practices.
Strategic and Leadership Skills:
- Project Leadership:
- Lead the discovery, design, and delivery of Apigee migrations to meet client needs.
- Show strong leadership in guiding project teams and ensuring seamless API execution.
- Client Engagement:
- Actively engage in account management and consult clients on strategic solutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, supporting and coordinating teams for successful outcomes.
Adaptability and Problem Solving:
- Fast-paced Environment Adaptation:
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to fast-changing environments and Apigee versioning.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited external direction.
- Flexibility in Operation:
- Ability to operate flexibly, adjusting to changing requirements and technologies.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
- Client-Facing Communication:
- Excellent communication skills, especially in client-facing consulting roles.
- Ability to lead by consensus, evangelization, and example.
Educational and Certification Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a STEAM discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Certification in Apigee API Management or GCP is a plus.
Salary Range:
The on-target earnings range is $ 109,749 - $164,623 which includes a base salary and incentives that align with company and individual performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies. The deadline to apply for this position is Dec 19, 2024.
