Network Engineer III

Summary

Key responsibilities including supporting operation and implementation, helping with cost savings on number of strategic projects (eg: New build outs, redesign of WAN, New client implementation, RMPLS and SDWAN roll outs etc) Extended support on resolving Sev1 incidents contributing to highest uptime globally for this region. Leading Complex network design implementations for clients at both delivery/ Data Centers regionally and globally Positive contribution on knowledge transfer, investing extra time and energy to inspire team by taking calculated risks helped in building more creative and higher performing team. Network Support scope for all locations on 24x7x365 basis across in Middle East Africa region Lead effort on key strategic internal projects eg: Wifi Rollout , New Cairo network design implementation which will have positive impact on close to 30000 users access mechanisms along with potential cost savings by decommissioning legacy systems. Support Complex network design implementations as well (eg:50:50 split, documentation, standardizing new site build designs for client site both delivery/ Data Centers regionally and globally not just from routing and switching but also on network security. This role is crucial to support our framework to facilitate communications between the network support team and the ITSDM/ IT Ops team along with strong hold on dealing with client technical and project teams, without backfill it will have severe impact on 24x7 support along with missing critical SLA on both BAU and projects Provide the metrics / KPIs or any other info that demonstrates the need to hire/Roadmap for 2025-26 Successful deployment of network services for strategic new customers within Egypt. Potential New Clients onboarding at MEA locations Egypt new network Build & Go live Security Audits and Patching; budget and circuit billing validation across MEA Replacement of EOSL critical firewalls, switches and routers. Proposal to increase with additional WAH users Incorporated multiple global initiatives including Documentations of projects, network visibility with monitoring, wireless standardization change management. Best practices, documentation and standardization of MEA Network services
