Job Description

Provide general and routine technical support to a broad range of installation, patching, configuration, and updates to Operating Systems.
and non-OS vendor application requiring the ability to research, analyses, and resolve problems effectively to meet established performance
metrics for Windows platform. Maintain documented procedures for Windows Infrastructure. Collaborates and contributes with teammembers, software vendors, and other technical staff to develop, design, implement, and continuously improve systems. May require on-call
availability and may require working during non-business hours and on weekends. Finally, should be flexible on work timing and to be
available on call for remote engineers when required

Education / Knowledge: Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or equivalent experience and/or training. Certification in MCSA, MCSE, VMware, ITIL or similar certification(s) would be considered an asset. Experience / Skill: Administrator of Windows Server OS and all related technologies • 3+ years’ experience. • Knowledge of Windows OS, DHCP, DNS, WINS, Active Directory, • Good Experience in Windows Patching, Antivirus Updates. • Knowledge of Bigfix, or any patch deployment tool • Good understanding in VA gapes and Closer • Hands on with miscellaneous windows system admin duties. • Experience in basic networking is a must. • LAN/WAN Basic configuration and management experience is a plus • Excellent communication skills. Mandatory Skills • Good communication Server Hardware and Windows OS, AD, DNS, DHCP ○ Active directory: configured and maintained Active directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy ○ Added and removed Windows server features and roles such as Terminal servers (RDS), DNS, DHCP, etc. ○ Done troubleshooting using Performance Monitor or any other tools, Event Viewer and Task Manager ○ Server OS Installation Hardware: Installed, Configured, maintained and troubleshoot server hardware from any one vendor (IBM, HP, UCS, Nutanix and Dell Hardware) ○ Installed, Configured, maintained and have done troubleshooting of Windows Server operating systems ○ Knowledge on RAID ○ MS patching Cortex/CrowdStrike antivirus and Windows Update process ○ Deploying Microsoft Windows Patches ○ Hands on Windows Patching tool, Like WSUS, SCCM, BigFix, PDQ etc. ○ Good Knowledge of Server Compliance. ○ Understanding of VA gaps and Closer
