Job Description
The Sr. Manager, Facility Management, will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility management, including maintenance, safety, security, and environmental compliance. Your role will be critical in ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained, cost-effective, and conducive to a productive work environment. This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational expertise.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of all company facilities, ensuring they are safe, clean, and well maintained
- Implement efficient facility management processes and best practices.
- Lead and mentor a team of facility management professionals, providing guidance and support in their roles
- Promote a culture of excellence, safety, and teamwork within the department
- Develop and manage the facility management budget, including cost control measures and expenditure tracking
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining facility standards
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to ensure the timely completion of maintenance and repair projects
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure cost-effective services
- Oversee safety protocols and compliance with regulations, including emergency preparedness and environmental sustainability
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure corrective actions are taken as needed
- Plan and execute facility improvement projects, renovations, and expansions as required
- Coordinate project teams and monitor project progress
- Maintain an accurate inventor of facility assets and equipment
- Develop and implement asset maintenance plans to extend equipment lifespan.
- Communicate with internal departments and stakeholders to understand their facility needs and address concerns
- Provide regular updates on facility performance and projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field from a four-year college or university with extensive experience preferred.
- Excellent English skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret.
- Solid understanding of the organization's business operations and industry.
- Demonstrates business acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to foster customer service disposition and sense of professionalism for self and team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership with focus on continuous improvement.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
