Your mission, should you choose to accept it:
- Immerse yourself in the digital canvas, working alongside a team to weave grids, typography, and responsive designs into digital masterpieces.
- Be the pixel perfectionist whose design vocabulary is fluent in the languages of Dribbble, Awwwards, and Figma.
- Utilise your seasoned experience (5+ years) to navigate the nuances of UI/Visual design, from inception to deployment, in a consultancy or agency ambience.
- Apply your expertise in design principles across various platforms (iOS, Android, Web) and modern design methodologies (atomic design, responsive design).
- Mastery of design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe Suite) and web standards (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
- Showcase a portfolio that displays your final creations and, importantly, your journey of problem-solving and decision-making.

What experience and skills do you need?
Required
- At least 5 years of professional work experience as a user interface or visual designer, preferably from a consulting or agency setting (end to end design solution)
- Strong knowledge of design principles for iOS, Android and Responsive web design
- Experience with contemporary design and development methodologies including atomic design, the double diamond, and human centred design
- Solid foundation in visual design practices (typography, colour, branding, grid etc.)
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Google Slides and Powerpoint
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and how to create designs to meet accessibility requirements
- Strong knowledge in setting up and maintaining design systems in Figma
- Strong familiarity with user testing and the ability to support UX in executing this
- Familiarity with web development standards such as HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript and ability to communicate with engineers
- Experience in dealing with stakeholders for presenting designs and facilitating workshops
- A proactive approach to leveraging and exploring new and emerging AI tools for design, staying up-to-date with advancements, and integrating these tools to enhance design workflows and outcomes
Bonus
- Native mobile experience is highly desirable
- Experience working in a true Agile environment is a bonus
