Job Description

The Advisor I, Technical Support responds to basic and routine inquiries of a technical nature including hardware/software, or other designated client products. This position assists external users of the client's technical products or services by answering questions and solving problems involved in their use.

Responsible information handling, ensure that backup and recovery systems are operating within defined SLAs

Understanding of the sensitivity of customer data

Identifying risk and communicating if you spot risk

Security Awareness.

Knowledge of security systems such as firewalls, encryption, antivirus, and intrusion detection is preferable.

Proactive individual who anticipates challenges and opportunities, taking initiative to address them effectively

Compliance with ADP's policies and procedures

Handling and protection of ADP's information

Reporting of security events

Implementing appropriate policies and procedures

Creating knowledge articles using the skills learned on the desk to help aid

colleagues.

Completion of instructor lead RCSA qualifications (TBC) – provide in training.

Actioning of restore requests where skill level allows, & escalation of these tickets when

required.

Basic understanding of general IT-related technologies. Networking, Active Directory,

OS-level troubleshooting.

Experience working within an ITIL environment, though being qualified.
