We are seeking an Associate Sales Director to be a part of our exciting and rapidly growing team within the APJ region.
The Associate Sales Director is responsible for client relationship management, client retention, team performance and development, business execution, process strategy, drive the generation of revenue and business growth by leading a team of Sales Managers assigned to different client partnerships across APJ (SEA, GCR, India, ANZ etc).
As an Associate Sales Director in our team, you will:
- Drive team performance and ensure the successful delivery of our open-source software management solutions.
- Engage in Inside Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Retention, Sales Enablement, and Channel Management.
- Foster strong, solution-oriented client engagements, delivering exceptional service and achieving high client retention.
- Develop your team through coaching, training, and continuous performance evaluation.
- Manage a moderately complex portfolio with diverse client needs, geographical reach, and varying client complexities.
- Lead, develop, and motivate management team to achieve specific business targets and meet assigned performance targets weekly/ monthly/ quarterly, ensuring high customer satisfaction
- Ensure team alignment to achieve operating plan targets, sales targets, and customer performance targets (CPTs)
- Effective client management having a clear view on account and how to maximize revenue as well as effectively communicating quarterly objectives to client with alignment on CPT
- Support the management of account portfolio profit and loss (P&L) to hit gross margin targets
- Act as an enabler to remove both internal and external roadblocks and help team to resolve challenges in support of sales opportunities
- Analyze data, performance, and customer experience trends to develop and implement strategic sales plays and best practice for client/specific territories
- Stay current on developments in client products/services and within the market and ensure the team is up to date with the latest trends and market direction
- Act as a point of escalation for the client and respond in a timely manner to any issues raised
- Create and deliver quarterly business reviews at regional/ global level and participate in global business reviews conducted by the Account Manager
- Work closely with client contact on reporting, forecasting, and pacing
- Prepare internal and external communication regarding expansion opportunities and progress to achieving sales goals, business insights and benchmarking
- Work across the larger organization to successfully launch and manage client-specific programs
- Create an environment that encourages expansion by making our value visible
- Ensure high level of professionalism during all interactions with team and client
- Effectively partner and build strong business relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer expectations are met
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify opportunities to optimize sales processes, systems and achieve a superior customer experience
- Participate in client sales meetings, channel conferences and other events that support further development of the client partnership
- Ability to manage deviations from client contract(s) and scope change, including consultative evaluation and support
We’ll be a great match if you have:
- 10-15 years of proven work experience in a sales leadership role (or similar) with 8+ years of experience in B2B customer facing roles for global/ regionalnational accounts with both services and support
- Extensive experience driving successful, solution-oriented client engagement; handling difficult internal and external business challenges; and delivering exceptional client service that results in high client retention
- Excels at building and maintaining internal stakeholder relationships
- Excellent people management, leadership, and coaching skills with superb record of developing and retaining high potential employees
- Excellent listening and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written), both internally and externally
- Comfortable and has experience working in a matrix environment
- Advanced knowledge of open-source software knowledge and other CRM programs (Salesforce, SAP, Oracle etc)
