Manager, Global Market Insights
Job Description
This is an individual contributor role and is part of Concentrix’s Global Market Insights team. This role will be responsible for conducting business research projects to provide strategic insights and analysis about the market, competitors, solutions, services and technologies to help the business make real time, informed strategy and business decisions. The Market Insights function may also support other sales and marketing functions.
What you will be doing (Key Responsibilities):
- Follow the global competitors of various Concentrix businesses to keep the business leaders updated with the latest competitor moves
- Analyze competitor activity over a short/medium-term to identify key competitive trends and the strategies being adopted by competitors globally
- Track changes in the markets that Concentrix operates in and identify trends and growth opportunities
- Prepare detailed industry/market updates with market sizing, forecast, customer experience industry & technology trends and future projections based on analyst estimates
- Prepare detailed competitor profiles with competency benchmarking, financials, strengths and weaknesses
- Conduct secondary research using databases such as Gartner, HFS, Everest, Forrester, Statista etc.
- Conduct research and analysis across a wide range of ad-hoc requests, e.g., for emerging and specialty industry sectors
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to deliver research projects aligned with business priorities.
How to get the job (Desired Skills and Experience):
- A post graduate degree
- 4+ years of relevant experience in market analysis, market / business research, market intelligence, consulting or competitive intelligence
- Experience or understanding of the customer care outsourcing industry or customer experience management is an added advantage
- Experience in secondary research in IT services/Technology sector is an added advantage
- Ability to translate qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights through appropriate research methodology
- Ability to analyze and spot trends. Proven experience in market assessment, segmentation etc.
- Ability to communicate findings in crisp presentations with flawless written communication skills
- Ability to independently scope, structure and deliver work with a clear visibility of timelines
- Experience of working with senior leaders and stakeholders and in multi-cultural teams across regions
- Strong excel and power point presentation skills and experience of using secondary research databases
