WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE   

As a Insurance Sales Operations Manager II working from home, you will

• Maintain and grow revenue of program(s); responsible for profitability including revenue, margins, billing, seat utilization and retention — with strong emphasis on driving Sales performance, forecasting accuracy, and execution of sales‑growth strategies.

• Ensures program has proficient training, staff development, and effective employee relation/recognition programs that directly support sales-readiness and high‑performance selling behaviors.

• Selecting, training, developing, and managing performance of direct reports and their associates; including planning and assigning work for staff in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable legal requirements — with a focus on developing sales leadership bench strength and reinforcing sales‑oriented competencies.

• Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports to ensure consistent administration of company policies and standards; define and implement any corrective actions needed to meet operational performance and to elevate team sales effectiveness, conversion rates, and client‑focused selling outcomes.

• Analyze and maintain all Client Service Level Agreements; implement improvement plans as needed while identifying sales‑impacting performance trends and ensuring sales targets remain aligned with SLA execution.

• Ensure that the operations is in compliance with active contracts including all sales‑related commitments.

• Oversee client relationships; facilitate open communications, understand client perspectives/expectations, and monitor client satisfaction with a strong focus on identifying expansion opportunities and strengthening client trust through demonstrated sales leadership.

• Conduct regular one-on-ones with direct reports to review individual performance, the performance of their teams and offer on-going developmental support including reinforcement of sales coaching, sales KPIs, and behaviors that drive strong performance.

• Create a positive work environment through employee engagement; resolve employee relation issues in a professional and timely manner while reinforcing a high‑energy, sales‑driven culture focused on accountability and results.

• Participate in cross functional meetings to review information received from operational support functions - Training, HR, Quality, WFM, TA - and partner to define action plans that resolve issues and drive continuous improvement that supports sales productivity, sales readiness, and optimized sales workflows.

• Maintain relationships with client and internal technology partners in order to facilitate open communications, understand changing technologies and stay abreast of industry trends that may influence sales tools, customer acquisition, and competitive positioning.

• Participate in opportunity review calls for new business and facilitate site visits from potential clients, keep up to date through trade shows, industry events, and related activities as a key Sales Leader representing program capabilities, results, and growth potential.

• Host Business Reviews on regular basis, communicate the overall objectives within common reports (service reports and Operational Efficiency Reports), ensure that customer, operational and capacity requirements are addressed (i.e. Telecommunications, Information Technology, Legal, HR, Finance, Facilities), hold weekly meetings with all functional leaders and direct reports reviewing site operations, needs, and upcoming events with a strong emphasis on sales metrics, goal achievements, and strategic actions required to meet ongoing sales growth targets.

Candidate Profile

• Associate's degree Preferred with more than ten years of experience (with two to four years of Progressive Management Experience) preferred — experience in Sales leadership, sales operations, strongly valued.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and improve work processes; establish a course of action for self and others to accomplish specific goals including sales objectives, quota achievement, and KPI-driven performance management.

• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop action plans, which maximize performance, and provide effective feedback including targeted sales coaching, skill development, and results‑driven performance improvement plans.

• Demonstrated ability to implement Change; flexibility to quickly adapt to changing business needs and evolving sales strategies, client demands, and opportunities.

• Work well under pressure and follow through on items to completion while maintaining professional demeanor in high-stakes sales environments and client‑driven growth scenarios.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to effectively present information to internal and external associates including sales presentations, performance narratives, and persuasive growth proposals.

• Proven ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business environment with a strong focus on meeting sales deadlines, reporting cycles, and revenue commitments.

• Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach and provide direction to a team of employees with emphasis on building a strong Sales culture, fostering sales confidence, and enabling high‑performance selling behaviors.

• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership with focus on continuous improvement and the proactive identification of sales opportunities, process efficiencies, and customer‑value expansion.

• Demonstrated ability to foster customer service disposition and sense of professionalism for self and team to support relationship-based selling and long-term client retention.

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate sales cycles, client needs, and business development activities.

    • The base salary range for this position is $60,000.00- $66,000.00 yearly (pay rate will not be below the applicable minimum wage), Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
