Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced, large-scale environment. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure across six buildings, supporting over 3,000 employees. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide exceptional support to a diverse user base. Scripting proficiency and advanced IT troubleshooting skills are highly desirable.
- Provide Tier 1 & 2 Technical Support: Respond to and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and telephony systems in a timely and efficient manner.
- On-Site Support: Travel to and provide on-site support across six buildings, ensuring all technical systems are functioning optimally.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems, escalating to higher-tier support when necessary.
- User Support: Provide excellent customer service and technical assistance to end-users, both remotely and in person.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, hardware repairs, and system monitoring.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations.
- Scripting and Automation: Develop and implement scripts to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
- Network Support: Assist with basic network troubleshooting and maintenance, including LAN/WAN connectivity issues.
- Internal Systems: Support and troubleshoot specific applications and hardware.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members to implement and maintain IT infrastructure.
- Training: Create and maintain training documentation for end users.
