Job Title:
Google for Startups Campus Events & Community (Project Coordinator)
Job Description
Support the management of the events calendar and activities promoted by Google for Startups Campus in Warsaw and its community of members. Support content selection and curation, monitoring the preparation and execution of all events, including necessary coordination with facilities, security, cleaning, and AV. Additional coverage to the activities of events at the discretion of the Head of Google for Startups and upon prior request of Google;
Event & Community Coordination
- Be the main point of contact for Google for Startups Campus Warsaw events and initiatives
- Develop and support organizations community and relations with key ecosystem stakeholders collaborating with Campus in Warsaw
- Coordinate community events: help Campus team to lead Campus events and initiatives, designed to forge better connections and create the right culture.
- Values and Communication: work closely with community ambassadors and local Campus team to champion Campus values and understand/act on member feedback.
- Presence: know the Campus community inside and out, and form strong bonds with Founders at Campus, partners, and members. Represent Campus onsite and at local events.
- Stakeholders: Build and nurture relationships with Campus Partners to coordinate relevant events for Campus. Work cross functionally to discover and develop opportunities to collaborate with other teams to develop Campus offering to startups, ecosystem stakeholders and partners
- Track, measure and report the results and key learnings of office hours, events and activities
- Occasionally work evening hours to support and assist with events.
Job Requirements
- Background in the marketing and event management role preferably with tech entrepreneurs and startups.
- Background in community engagement, preferably with tech entrepreneurs and startups.
- Good knowledge of the CEE startup ecosystem. Experience implementing programs within a startup space or organization.
- Well organized and able to work on several projects simultaneously.
- Ability to learn fast, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset foreseeing challenges and developing creative solutions.
- Independent. Proven communication and leadership skills to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders
- Familiarity and passion for technology and startups
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed team environment with many stakeholders, small and agile teams and complexity of a large organization
This is a fixed term role for 2 months with extension potential on site at Plac Konesera 10 Warsaw .
