Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Delivery: Serve as the principal technical contact for projects, providing leadership during sprint planning, project showcases, and client engagements. Ensure high-quality software development and drive standards adoption within the team.

• Line and Team Management: Directly manage and mentor engineers, conducting regular one-on-one meetings and providing performance feedback. Participate in local engineering planning meetings.

• Commercial Involvement: Contribute to technical pre-sales, qualify commercial opportunities, and provide technical expertise during sales calls and meetings. Review technical proposals and provide feedback.

• Promote Best Practices: Champion modern engineering practices, support application development efforts, and participate in software design and architecture processes.

• Mentorship and Leadership: Provide technical leadership in Agile and Scrum methodologies, critique designs and architectures, and mentor junior colleagues.

Preferred Technical Skillsets:

• Proficient in Angular and Azure, with significant experience in web-based application development and cloud architecture.

• Strong knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices, with the ability to design, establish, and maintain these practices in a technical environment.

Personal and Behavioural Attributes:

• Widely trusted and approachable, with well-developed communication and emotional intelligence skills.

• Flexibility and openness to diverse technical assignments.

• Ability to manage time effectively and meet commitments.

Key Contacts:

• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including engineers, testers, project managers, and senior management.

• Engage with technical experts from technology suppliers, vendors, and customers to provide technical support and design clarification.
