You will be working as part of a team for to better support for malware search tooling for research. We are looking for someone who is strong with Python development and some UI development with JavaScript. This is a remote role and must work the EST time zone.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3 -5 years of experience in software development, scripting, and automation with Python 2 or 3 and JavaScript.
Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana).
Experience with various testing frameworks: NodeJs, GIT, Various Databases (Splunk) / Datasources
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn new skills quickly.
Responsibilities:
Tool Development: Design and develop tools and applications to support tooling functions, including monitoring, alerting, reporting, and automation.
Integration: Integrate various systems and platforms to ensure seamless operations and data flow within the tooling system.
Automation: Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Monitoring and Alerting: Develop and enhance monitoring solutions to ensure the health and performance of IT infrastructure and applications.
Collaboration: Work closely with analysts, system administrators, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of tools, scripts, and processes.
Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for developed tools, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend innovative solutions to enhance operations.
