The Catalyst Team is looking for a Triage Engineer to join our full-time team as full-time employee.
Main Responsibilities
• Application Monitoring and Support – Provide support for Prod issues by going through the SOPs, determine the root cause and address accordingly through Splunk and tools, etc.
• Take care of monitor Dashboards and alerts.
• Offshore/nearshore Coordination of activities and pending production incidents
• Work with Tier 2 team to get issues resolved.
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience in support and monitoring of platforms.
- Will handle customer calls in English and report weekly activities.
- Excellent logic mind.
- Cloud monitoring knowledge (basic knowledge of Kubernetes and containers)
- Proficient Monitoring production applications using Splunk (queries and dashboards), AppDynamics, Grafana.
- Experienced following SOPs and contribute to improvements to prevent major incidents.
- Knowledge of SQL to perform queries to Oracle DB
- Knowledge of Network concepts
- Work on production incidents and provide detailed analysis of the issues.
- Do RCA and provide necessary reporting to stakeholders.
- Learn new technologies and adapt to new requirements.
- Excellent communication skills (inform partners on potential issues and provide updates on trend and important information of issues)
- Work on weekends could happened according to the Shift roster of the month (11:00am to 7pm central time)
- Identify opportunities to improve.
