Role and Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the O2C process, covering areas such as risk management, cash application, collections, credit control, and disputes.
- Partner with operations teams to identify and resolve process issues and improve service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with process controls, policies, and audit requirements.
- Support training and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
- Analyze data and generate reports to identify trends, exceptions, and improvement areas.
- Act as a liaison between operations, quality, and technology teams to support enhancements and automation initiatives.
Key skills & knowledge:
- Strong working knowledge of O2C -AR sub processes including - Collection, Forecasting, Month-end AR Closing Activities, Bad Debt Reserve, Cash Application, Portfolio Ageing Analysis (mandatory).
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems like SAP, Business Objects, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Analytical mindset with good MS Excel and reporting skills.
- Preferred experience in Power BI dashboard and desktop automations.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with SLA, KPI monitoring, and service delivery metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or exposure to continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in O2C/AR processes with strong domain expertise.
- Exposure to automation tools (e.g., RPA, workflow management systems) shall be an added advantage.
