We are seeking talented interpreters to join our Video Relay Service team working from home, delivering the National Relay Service.

As an Auslan Interpreter you will:

• Deliver exceptional customer service to the Deaf, speech communication difficulty and hard of hearing community
• Provide an efficient response to customer requests
• Maintain strict confidentiality while dealing with personal and sensitive information in an accurate and careful manner

What we are looking for:

• Wired NBN Internet Connection - minimum download 10mbs+, minimum upload 10mbs+
• Role 1 - Ideally be available at least 2 days per week, one of these days being Friday -we will accept 1 day
• Role 2 - Ideally be available Monday through Thursday or at least 2 of these days per week
• Saturday shift available 8am to 12noon - 25% penalty rate applies 
• NAATI accredited Provisional Interpreters and Certified Interpreters
• 5+ years proven experience interpreting in a range of contexts within the Deaf community
• Understand and follow the Interpreter Code of Ethics
• Current ASLIA membership is preferable
• Be available to undertake 3 days of online training
