Job Description
- Sets up examination rooms by ensuring equipment is ready, there is availability of fresh sets of patients gowns and linens, and dressing cubicles/procedure areas are sanitized
- Communicates with patients, explains procedures, ensures every patient is comfortable and consents to procedure, and addresses queries
- Positions patients, selects appropriate scan settings, and ensures image clarity
- Strictly adheres to safety protocols and norms, minimizing radiation exposure
- Generates and reviews diagnostic images, liaises with physicians, and maintains patient records
- Ensures timely availability of radiographic supplies and monitors stocks and inventory
- Prepares & submits request for purchase to OM on a monthly scheduled basis for supplies/consumables replenishment
- Maintains equipment by performing regular checks, executing scheduled maintenance with Biomed or Equipment supplier, and escalating prompt emergency repairs
- Assists Clinic Operations Manager in preparing all FDA documents and permits related to radiology for regulatory compliance
- Assist Radiologists in ultrasound procedures
- Arranges schedule/decking of Radiologists for regular and special procedures
- Efficiently manages the daily schedule of readers
- Monitors and prepares Radiologist reader’s fee request for payment
