Summary
The Associate Director, Talent Acquisition is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for the professional hiring function, ensuring the delivery of best-in-class recruitment practices focused on attracting experienced, skilled professionals that support both immediate business needs and long-term workforce planning. This role leads the design, development, and execution of professional recruiting strategies while managing a high-performing team. The Associate Director partners closely with HR, Compensation, and business leaders to attract, engage, and retain high-calibre professional talent in alignment with the organization’s overall business and people strategies.
Description
- Lead the design, development, and execution of an effective short-term recruiting strategy while supporting the development and implementation of long-term departmental talent acquisition strategies.
- Develop, modify, and execute departmental or company-wide policies that impact immediate operations. Exercise supervision over costs, methods, and staffing to support business needs while maintaining alignment with organizational business and HR & People strategies.
- Direct and oversee a team’s hiring and sourcing activities to ensure optimal candidate selection, efficient recruitment processes, and compliance with organizational policies, standards, and stakeholder expectations.
- Analyse recruiting data to identify gaps, trends, and areas of opportunity. Partner with leadership to establish and monitor recruiting metrics and analytics that inform decision-making, measure productivity, and assess program ROI.
- Develop and support diversity recruitment strategies through strategic relationship building.
- Partner with HR and Compensation teams to share market intelligence and develop cross-functional strategies that attract and retain talent through competitive compensation and offer practices.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of recruitment records and reporting across all phases of the hiring lifecycle within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
- Monitor and measure team performance to ensure consistent standards for all applicants and compliance with local employment laws and hiring regulations.
- Build and apply in-depth knowledge of job specifications, including required experience, skills, and behavioural competencies necessary for success in each role.
- Promote the company’s brand and employer image to candidates and external service providers, ensuring accurate representation and upholding the highest standards of ethical behaviour across all recruitment activities.
Candidate Profile
Experience and Leadership
Demonstrable experience delivering leadership within professional hiring – minimum 3 years experience
Proven ability to mentor, coach, and provide direction to a team of recruitment professionals.
Technical and Functional Responsibilities
Solid understanding of employment legislation across Egypt.
Workday experience
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Strong ability to interpret and analyse recruiting metrics and trends, including retention, quality of hire, and throughput.
