Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Active Directory Customer Service Engineer to provide technical support and security solutions in Zero Trust security models, Azure networking, and cloud-native security practices. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure Active Directory (AAD), Azure Virtual Networks, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and network security architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
Azure Active Directory & Zero Trust Security
- Apply Zero Trust security principles to Azure Virtual Networks by implementing granular access controls.
- Secure private traffic within and across Azure tenants while maintaining compliance.
- Implement Azure-native security features to enhance network security and threat mitigation.
Network Security & Protection
- Manage Azure Web Application Firewall (WAF), including:
- OWASP compliance and Web Security best practices.
- Custom rules, exclusions, and policy deep dives.
- Integration with Azure Firewall, DDoS protection, Web Apps, and API Management.
Azure Networking & Architecture
- Design Azure network topology aligned with Azure landing zone recommendations.
- Work with Application Gateway, focusing on:
- Header and URL rewrites.
- HTTP to HTTPS redirection.
- Bot protection.
- Compare WAF deployments across Azure Application Gateway (AAG) and Azure Front Door (AFD).
- Monitor and log Azure WAF activity to optimize performance and security.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- 5 years of experience in Azure Active Directory, network security, and cloud security.
- Expertise in Zero Trust security models, Azure Virtual WAN, and firewall configurations.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Web Application Firewall (WAF), Azure Firewall, and DDoS protection.
- Strong understanding of OWASP security principles, network filtering, and cloud-native security.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and customer service skills.
