Job Description
The Role:
You will provide various services to our Enterprise customers to increase systems availability, resolve critical issues, and ultimately improve the health of our customers' environments. We consult with experienced technical staff to ensure they have the skills to troubleshoot and maintain their solution. When things do go wrong we provide rapid on site expertise to resolve critical situations. You will report to our Regional Leader.
Roles and Responsibilities and day-to-day activities:
- Configuration Manager – Subject Matter Expert level experience within the last 3 years:
- Experience with Application management
- Experience with OS deployment (In-place upgrades, capturing/deploying OS images, PXE and offline media)
- Experience with Driver management
- Experience with Software update deployment
- Experience with Device compliance
- Experience with Endpoint protection
- Experience with SQL queries
- Experience with HW/SW Inventory and CMPivot
- German Language B2 or higher
You will:
- Possess deep technical expertise in at least one technical specialty and can solve complex technical problems through sound, creative troubleshooting. You will also need to be able to examine possible workarounds and escalations as required.
- Set an example of excellence, enhancing the company's image and reputation through your credibility, preparation, commitment, and first-class delivery.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills; ability to develop strategic on-going customer relationships, gain trust and respect for the company. Engineers must also possess strong technical writing, presentation and training skills.
- Enjoy team work, and actively contribute to their peer group as well as our customer account teams.
- Communicate at all levels from CIO to the technical staff on the ground.
- Responsible for daily operations of Windows-based servers running in a mixed physical and virtual
- Manage high availability of servers and services.
- Ongoing management and maintenance of Windows servers. Execute pre-defined tasks and tasks as instructed. Recover from minor system failures/partial failures.
- Responsible for the implementation, operation, maintenance, backup, system security, and system integrity of Microsoft Operating systems . Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
- The role if for 2 years fixed contract
