Join our dynamic Instrument Referential team, a key function within Global Markets, responsible for the setup and lifecycle management of variable income products across our systems. The team operates from 8 AM to 6 PM London time, ensuring accurate and efficient market data flows. With a strong reliance on Bloomberg for static data and Reuters for market data, the team serves a diverse range of internal clients—including Trading, Sales, Structuring, Trade Support, P&L, Risk, Settlement, Accounting, IT, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instrument Configuration: Configure a range of financial instruments—including indices, stocks, ETFs, rates, futures, options, convertible bonds, and warrants—within EQD systems, from Front Office (FO) to Accounting, based on trading team requirements.
  • Static Data & Lifecycle Management: Oversee and manage static data and the lifecycle of instruments, ensuring accurate processing of daily code changes in response to Corporate Actions.
  • Market Data Feed Control: Ensure the quality and consistency of daily market data feeds, which are vital for generating P&L reports and pricing products accurately.
  • Financial Calendars Administration: Administer the creation and ongoing updates of Financial Calendars, ensuring alignment with market events and corporate actions.
  • Correlation Matrix & Time Series Maintenance: Maintain the Correlation Matrix for instrument time series, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data for risk analysis and pricing.
  • Warrants & Certificates Management: Oversee the STP Back Office (BO) feed for Listed and Exotic Warrants and certificates.
  • Issuer Creation in Client System: Manage the creation of Issuers linked to equities in the Client system
  • Accounting & Regulatory Reporting: Contribute to accounting and regulatory reporting processes.

Contributing Responsibilities

  • Apply control and escalation procedures on breaks between different systems
  • Respect any timeline and deadline cutoffs
  • Facilitate the integration of new activities and migrations of IT systems
  • Ensure the consistency of the Referential between all the sites
  • Participate in the industrialization of feed (Static and Market Data)
  • Contribute to the improvement and completeness of daily and monthly checks
  • Keep on documenting all procedures in place to stick market and process evolutions.
  • Contribute in all control plan protocols according local operational risk policies.
  • Contribute in precision and accuracy of activity metrics and escalate any relevant problems or success to management on a continuous basis.

Minimum Hiring Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years working experience in relevant areas (Operations)
  • Bachelor or Master Degree on Banking & Finance / Economics / Mathematics
  • Knowledge in Financial Products, Knowledge in Front to Back workflow and the product event management would be a significant plus.

  • Strong Preference to have Bachelor or Master Degree on Economics, Mathematics or Finance.
  • Strong Treasury (Rate / Bonds) & Equity derivatives products & operations process knowledge.
  • Strong Preference to have MS skills (VBA, Excel, and Access) would be a significant plus.
