What you will do in this role

As a Funding Specialist, you will:

  • Manage and maintain accurate funding-related data, including patient information, purchase order details and payor-specific requirements.
  • Track the full purchase order lifecycle, ensuring validity, coverage, timely renewals, and alignment with ordering and billing processes.
  • Follow up on unpaid invoices, investigate payment issues, and support the resolution of funding and receivables discrepancies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payor-specific processes, approval requirements and ordering patterns.
  • Prepare and maintain operational reports related to purchase orders, funding coverage, payment status and risk areas.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams to resolve funding issues, improve data consistency and support an efficient order-to-cash flow.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing holds or discrepancies, manage manual billing tasks (e.g., trial pumps, credit notes), and handle sales tracing credits.
  • Respond to AR-related inquiries from distributors and customers, ensuring timely and professional resolution.

Your qualifications

  • Are fluent in English (written and spoken at C2 level)
  • Have strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Have experience in order-to-cash, billing, receivables or related operational processes.
  • Are proficient working with ERP and CRM systems.
  • Have experience managing high-volume operational data in a structured environment.
  • Have advanced Excel skills, including data tracking, reconciliation, validation and reporting.
