Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer that will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining Power BI reports and datasets to support data-driven decision-making processes. The scope of services includes working closely with stakeholders to understand their business processes and data needs, providing customized BI solutions that enable informed decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working in BI Engineer or similar positions.
- Solid experience working with Power BI (Power BI Desktop & Power BI Report Builder).
- Experience implementing data transformations, DAX calculations, and visualizations.
- Knowledge of Snowflake and creation of datasets.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
1. Power BI Development
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Report Builder.
- Create efficient and scalable datasets, primarily from Snowflake, for use in Power BI reports.
- Implement data transformations, DAX calculations, and visualizations in Power BI to meet specific client needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document report requirements.
2. Client Support and Engagement
- Build close relationships with business users to understand their data requirements, processes, and objectives.
- Propose and develop customized BI solutions to address business challenges and enhance decision-making processes.
- Provide real-time support and address client requirements on an emergency basis, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery of solutions.
