Trainer II
Job Description
To facilitate and deliver targeted, focused training interventions to teach and strengthen skills and knowledge of all personnel thereby promoting company efficiency and increasing corporate productivity. This will include new hire / soft skill training, recursive training, leadership development etc.
You Will
- Provide or facilitate skills-based learning provision for all employees where required and appropriate
- Ensure all new delegates receive full induction training to achieve satisfactory skills and knowledge at a level technically proficient for their role
- Ensure all new delegates into leadership roles receive full manager induction training to achieve satisfactory skills and knowledge at a level technically proficient for their role
- Ensure all employees receive continuous appropriate development to maintain competent skills and knowledge at a level technically proficient in their role
- Ensure all employees in leadership roles receive continuous appropriate development to maintain competent skills and knowledge at a level technically proficient in their role
- Ensure a support program is in place post induction training to meet ongoing developmental needs
- Understand L&D needs across the organization with appropriate focus on sales and commercial business units
- Utilize appropriate delivery techniques in a blended learning environment
- Oversee, measure and validate, utilizing appropriate systems, the delivery and quality of training and development provided, and devise and track the impact of interventions
- Provide coaching and support outside of the classroom to ensure learning interventions are successfully embedded for long term skills and knowledge growth
- Ensure own level of understanding about the customer interaction and the evolving business environment is constantly updated
- Help create a culture where individuals take more responsibility for their own learning and development
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or related work experience
- Previous experience as a top performing salesperson
- Telephone based business sales experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes
- Ability to make decisions and use judgment & intuition to function in a matrixed & dynamic environment
- Effectively manage deadline related pressures
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
- Desire and ability to work with different business technologies
- Solution orientated with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience in developing classroom and virtual training solutions and understanding of Learning and Development theories and models
- Previous experience in delivering sales specific training programs which enable inexperienced teams to achieve sales KPIs within a set timeframe
- Strong planning & organization skills
- Excellent communication skills to effectively facilitate training workshops that is engaging for all participants
- Strong ability to coach and inspire confidence in others
