Job Description
We are seeking an experienced People Analytics Data Science specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for extracting valuable insights from complex datasets to inform strategic decision-making and drive business success.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics, machine learning, and data analysis, automation coupled with excellent communication skills to effectively convey findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Data Analysis and Exploration
- Utilize advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop and implement data cleaning and preprocessing strategies.
Model Development and Evaluation
- Design and build predictive models to solve business problems and enhance decision-making processes.
- Evaluate the performance of machine learning models using appropriate metrics.
- Iterate and optimize models to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Feature Engineering
- Identify relevant features and variables to enhance model performance.
- Collaborate with domain experts to incorporate subject matter knowledge into feature engineering.
Data Visualization
- Create visually compelling and insightful data visualizations to communicate findings.
- Develop interactive dashboards for monitoring and reporting.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and objectives.
- Communicate complex findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide training and support to HR team members on analytics tools and techniques
- Work closely with internal teams and IT professionals to ensure seamless integration of models into production systems.
Automation and Process Improvement
- Automate HR processes and workflows using Excel VBA, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement automation solutions to increase efficiency.
- Develop and maintain automated reporting solutions to streamline data collection and analysis
- Survey design and deployment
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Masters in Statistics, Computer Science or Mathematics
- Minimum 8 years of experience in people analytics, data science, reporting, and automation.
- Proven experience with Excel VBA, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Advanced knowledge of programming using Python or R
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Domo, Tableau or Power BI
- Proven experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate for process automation.
- Experience building ML and DL models using Tensorflow, Pytorch, scikit-learn, transformers, etc.
- Experience in applied Natural language processing and text analytics.
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms and their application in HR analytics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
