Marketing Specialist

Description.

(A) Background. Contractor shall provide marketing operations management and support services for Google. Contractor will assist the Google for Startups team in offering mentoring and upskilling programs to support startup founders to grow their businesses, and which services are more fully described below, together with any additional services requested by Google from time to time and in accordance with the relevant provisions of this SOW and to Google’s satisfaction.

(B) Services.

1) Contractor will provide marketing operations management and support services using all reasonable skill and care in the provision of the services consistent with the standards of good practice within the industry, and which marketing management and support services shall include but not be limited to:

a) Creating detailed analysis and reports of Google for Startups (“GFS”) Campus in Warsaw, focusing on users’ profile and behaviour (the “Reports”);

b) Design marketing assets for priority programs;

c) Crafting the narrative for the Program’s:

i) Success stories;

ii) Social profiles;

iii) Website content; and

iv) Any other content as required and requested by Google from time to time (email will suffice).

d) Monitoring startup news and surface important developments on alumni and member startups;

e) Overseeing Campus events and partner communications

f) Interviewing startup founders who participate in GFS events to develop case studies; and

g) Posting news and event announcements on social media, and startup-related online communities (the “Creative Assets”).

i) Posting Guidelines:

1. Contractor will ensure that all content complies with the guidelines attached as the Marketing Services Attachment of the Governing Agreement;

2. Contractor will abide by the Guidelines and by any additional specifications or guidelines provided by Google in writing (email to suffice);

3. Contractor will ensure that any posts on Instagram that utilise the “paid promotion” tool also feature the relevant Advertising Disclosures mentioned below.

4. Contractor will ensure that the content complies with the terms of service of each platform on which the content is posted, and is in line with the relevant platform’s latest requirements in relation to product placement and commercial communication;

5. Contractor shall procure that each post is in accordance with the times and dates of such posts and stories to be agreed in advance with Google;

Key Skills Required, candidate profile:

A good understanding and grasp of project management tools and practices; experience developing and/or tracking a project with is an advantage, RACI, Agile, Asana
Strong analytical problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and fluency in English
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent time-management skills and should be deadline and closure oriented
Strong attention to detail and should be extremely facts and data oriented
Preference for a fast-paced, matrixed team environment
Exceptional multi-tasking ability
Positive/pleasant attitude with ambition to learn and develop
Strong discipline to work independently and remotely, as necessary
Ability to influence people (internal/external customers, Operations)
Ability to cope with the intensive mode of several projects taking place simultaneously
Take responsibility for the project and lead it with limited support
Ability to work in small but very agile teams, but also understanding the complexity of large organizations
Availability to work On Site in Warsaw
Experience in Project Management would be an advantage
Fluency in English language
This is a temporary position until the end of the year
