Summary

 

We are looking for a PTC (Positive Train Control) Analyst who can be onsite in Omaha, Nebraska. You will need PTC (positive train control) experience and have familiarity with transportation and logistics domain.

 

We can sponsor H1B candidates but cannot consider C2C resources.

 

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

·     Mid-Level 5+ years of experience

·     Must have: PTC testing/engineering experience, Microsoft office expert level experience.

·     Good to have: SQL

·     PTC operations analysis experience 5+ years

·     PTC messaging analysis 3+ years

·     PTC testing experience 3+ years

·     GCOR knowledge 2+ years

·     Monitor all installed systems supported by the operating technologies group including PTC following standard work.

·     Assist with different teams testing and evaluating new systems for future use.

·     Evaluate existing systems and provide technical direction to the support teams.

·     You will communicate problems found, impact to operations and mitigation plan to field and office management to ensure cooperation and coordination to minimize impact to train operations.

·     You will provide primary engineering support to the operating teams (field employees, test engineers) with regards to PTC and other projects supported by the operating tech team.

·     You will develop a complete understanding of the technical aspects of the PTC system and software requirements.

·     You will support PTC deployment and operations, assisting in the triage of problem reports and identify defects/issues and suggests solutions that increase the efficiency of PTC operations.
