Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced ERP Enterprise Architect to lead and shape the architectural design and implementation of our ERP systems, with a focus on integrating with cloud-based SaaS solutions, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Middleware. We are looking for knowledge of SAP ERP, event-driven architecture, and Rest API/EDI-based integrations. The ERP Enterprise Architect will work with teams, including business leaders, solution architects, developers, and external vendors, to provide a cohesive, scalable, and future-proof ERP ecosystem.
You will :
- Manage the ERP architecture roadmap, focusing on modularity, scalability, and cloud readiness.
- Design and implement integrations between ERP systems (SAP preferred) and other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, SCM) through SOA, EDI, and Middleware technologies.
- Lead projects to incorporate cloud-native and SaaS-based applications into the existing ERP landscape, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
- Architect event-driven solutions to enhance ERP capabilities in real-time data processing, asynchronous event handling, and scalability.
- Develop a Rest API framework to facilitate secure, scalable integration with internal and external systems.
- Provide technical guidance, and mentorship to other architects, developers, and IT team members to guide best practices in ERP and middleware design.
- Identify opportunities for process automation, performance optimization, and architectural simplification.
- Collaborate with team members to understand our requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient architectural solutions.
You Have:
- 10+ years in ERP systems, with at least 5 years in an architectural role focused on SAP or similar ERP.
- Proficiency in SAP ERP modules (SD, MM, FI/CO) or similar ERP systems.
- Experience with SOA, Middleware platforms (SAP PI/PO, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar), and message brokers (e.g., Kafka).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and SaaS ERP integrations.
- Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture using tools like Apache Kafka or AWS SNS/SQS.
- Expertise in RESTful API design and management, including API gateways (Apigee, MuleSoft, SAP API Management).
- Familiarity with EDI standards (EDIFACT, X12) and integration with ERP systems.
- Knowledge of data security, GDPR, SOX compliance, and identity management tools.
