Summary

The Accounting Associate is responsible for researching HR; Benefits; and Payroll compliance matters that are related to client services offering and executing internal control and operational reviews of Concentrix operations in support of compliance requirements. This position will provide leadership for team audits: participate in client project implementation efforts; and be assigned the more difficult special projects requested by management. Additionally; this position provides management with consultative support to assist in controlling and/or enhancing processes; functions and systems; compliance and policies; procedures; accounting; and other regulations. The incumbent will also be responsible for continuously identifying new risks prevalent and emerging in the International region and map.

Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities
• Determine compliance with corporate, regulatory, and client policies and procedures
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial statements
• Perform the activities required to complete monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close
• Ensure proper recording of financial transactions
• Analyze variances between actual and budgeted results, as well as monthly trends
• Coordinate the delivery of information requirements for internal and external audits
• Stay up to date on changes in tax and accounting laws
• Design, implement, and evaluate internal controls to prevent financial risks
• Propose improvements to administrative and financial processes
• Promote best practices and operational efficiency

Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with at least one year of experience, preferably in companies within the customer service sector
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present information effectively to internal and external stakeholders
• Proven ability to organize and prioritize projects in a dynamic, deadline-driven business environment
• Demonstrates initiative and accountability, with a focus on continuous improvement
• Strong customer service orientation and professionalism
• Solid understanding of business operations and the organization’s industry; demonstrated business acumen
