Summary: We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our team. If relocating, you will need to be onsite day 1.
This designer will be part of a larger team who works on projects across the organization (Finance, HR, Legal, Engineering, etc).
Key Responsibilities:
- User Research & Analysis: Conduct user research, interviews, and surveys to understand user needs and behaviors.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, storyboards, and prototypes to communicate design concepts.
- Design & Development Collaboration: Work closely with developers and product managers to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with business objectives.
- Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability tests, analyze results, and iterate designs based on feedback.
- UX Strategy: Develop and implement UX strategies that align with the company's goals.
- Visual Design: Ensure the visual design is consistent with the company's brand guidelines. as well as responsive/mobile design
- Experience leading design projects
- Experience providing guidance to development teams to help them execute UX designs
- Experience facilitating workshops with large groups of stakeholders
- Familiar with design systems such as material design
- Experience using a research repository such as dovetail and turning research into actionable findings
- Providing guidance to development teams to help them execute UX Designs
- Ability to use analytics software and analyze data
- Experience presenting to company executives
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in the UX/design space
- Experience with user research quantitative and qualitative
- Experience with Figma design and prototyping software or similar
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Experience designing map applications and working with Geospatial UIS (ideally)
- Experience using a research repository such as dovetail and turning research into actionable findings
- Experience with analytics software to analyze data
- Previous experience presenting to company executives
- Key Skills:
- Understanding of interaction design principles
- Experience with responsive and mobile design
- Ability to convey ideas through sketches, wireframes, and mockups
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
