Junior In-House Legal Counsel
Job Description
As a qualified lawyer your primary focus will be to provide clear and actionable legal guidance to the local Concentrix business leaders and key stakeholders within the Norbal region, supported by the wider Concentrix EMEA Legal team
Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate client agreements, supplier agreements (including facility related documentation such as lease agreements and others), etc.
- Company law related topics: board and shareholder minutes, company related questions like company data, authorized signatories, notarization of documents, registration of changes at the company register, documentation related to liquidation of legal entities, intercompany loan agreements.
- Data Privacy: review of Data Processing Agreement liability clause review and legal advice to Privacy Leader when needed, client data privacy related questions i.e. transfer of personal data outside EU.
- Labour law: support in questions where People Solutions team needs a second opinion such as criminal checks, termination of employment, changes to employment contracts and engagement of external lawyers in disputes or administrative proceedings as in Latvia and Estonia that can be initiated by employees at the Labour Inspectorate.
- Compliance: support in KYC questions from clients or banks, legal advice on gifts and hospitality to clients, implementation of global policies or trainings when needed, fraud cases internal/external fraud investigations and engagement of external lawyers.
- ISO certification: update of compliance document including compliance with laws as per ISO 27001 certification.
- Administrative tasks: management of documents (e.g. contracts and company documents like minutes of meeting, copies of company register, etc.) within the Concentrix contract management system(s).
- Notarization of documents when completing changes at the company register in Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in law or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated legal experience, preferably in corporate or commercial law.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- International legal experience or experience working in multicultural jurisdictions is desirable.
