Senior IT Project Manager
Title: Senior IT Project Manager
Location: Seattle/Bellevue, WA - Hybrid role (3 days onsite/week)
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex IT projects from initiation through implementation. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering projects on scope, on budget, on schedule, and in alignment with quality expectations while partnering closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Lead the full project lifecycle from project definition, planning, execution, monitoring, through implementation and closure
- Own project scope, schedule, cost, and quality measures to ensure successful delivery
- Develop detailed project plans and drive key milestones across multiple workstreams
- Establish and maintain effective communication plans for project teams, stakeholders, and leadership
- Provide day-to-day direction, coordination, and support to project resources
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and changes throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure effective change management practices are implemented to support project success
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, budgets, and related deliverables
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment, decision-making, and issue resolution
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to strengthen project delivery practices across IT initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proven experience managing end-to-end IT projects and initiatives in a complex business environment
- Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk management
- Demonstrated ability to develop project plans, manage milestones, and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, leadership, and decision-making skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Experience preparing project documentation, status reporting, and budget tracking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, and Word
- Ability to lead with sound judgment, adaptability, and a strong sense of accountability.
The base salary range for this position is $92,250 to $120,000 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays.
