Position: Python Developer

We are seeking a talented Back-End Developer to modify and enhance the back-end infrastructure of our existing malware sandbox, transitioning it from internal-only to customer-facing.

Key Responsibilities: 

·       Porting code from Python 2 to Python 3. 

·       Developing and integrating APIs for the web front-end. 

·       Working with relational databases and MongoDB. 

·       Debugging in production server environments. 

·       Developing for containerized environments. 

·       Writing automated tests and working in a DevTest environment. 

·       Designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Python applications. 

·       Participating in full software development lifecycle activities. 

·       Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions. 

·       Conducting code reviews and ensuring code quality. 

·       Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. 

Key Qualifications: 

·       5-10+ years of experience with Python. 

·       Experience in porting Python 2 code to Python 3. 

·       Strong knowledge of relational and document-oriented databases (MongoDB preferred). 

·       Experience debugging in production. 

·       Familiarity with container development (Docker). 

·       Experience with DevOps, automated testing (Pytest), and SQLAlchemy (optional). 

·       Strong core Java/J2EE fundamentals. 

·       3+ years of Oracle database skills. 

·       Knowledge of Agile development methodology. 

·       Strong communication skills with technical and cross-functional teams. 

Additional Information: 

This role is remote and requires working within the EST time zone.
