Technical Solutions Consultant
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions and integration components using modern backend technologies such as Ruby, .NET, Node.js, Python, or Java.
Architect and implement API-driven integrations between Smartsheet and enterprise third-party platforms.
Partner directly with customers to lead technical discovery workshops, gather requirements, and define scalable integration architectures aligned with business goals.
Act as a trusted technical consultant, translating complex business needs into clear technical solutions and implementation strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams during pre-sales and delivery phases, contributing to solution scoping, technical presentations, documentation, and architectural reviews.
Drive end-to-end technical initiatives from solution design through implementation and deployment.
Ensure solutions follow best practices for scalability, maintainability, performance, and security.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in software development and systems integration.
Strong experience with at least two modern backend technologies such as Ruby, .NET, Node.js, Python, or Java.
Hands-on experience designing and building RESTful APIs and integration solutions.
Experience integrating SaaS platforms within enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of systems architecture, scalable application design, and integration patterns.
Proven experience working in customer-facing or consulting-oriented roles, including leading technical discussions with stakeholders.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience leading technical projects from discovery and solution design through delivery and implementation.
Experience with Smartsheet integrations is a plus.
